I was trying to get a plugin for wordpress today as for my newly born blog, i came to know few tricks redirecting affiliate links which i would like to let my readers know about. These tricks are not illegal in anyway, they are legit and fruitful too. Now probably most of the readers might knew it already but it is for those who are the beginners or just new put their self into affiliate marketing like me. Well the trick is very simple and easy to implement, you can get this done just in few clicks.

Let me tell you how it will work

You might have seen blogs and websites using different methods to hide their affiliate link some people just do it like

http://www.MuneebAhmed.com/recommends/colopure.php
or
http://www.MuneebAhmed.com/colopure.php

How this thing will work ? Well the answer is very simple, you have to go through your FTP client like i most of the time use FTP surfer or you can use any other you are comfortable with, and create a folder which you name anything, like recommends or goto. Now you have to make a php file via a text editor and put in code something like this :

<?php
header( 'Location: http://www.youraffiliateurl.com/' ) ;
?>

Replace the youraffiliateurl.com with your affiliate link and upload it to that folder, Now what you have to do is only put on your site the link and each time whenever a visitor try to go through that link it will be redirected to the affiliate link.

There are other ways too, that is without letting your visitors know about the original affiliate link, i’m sure this can get you some extra money off of affiliate commissions.
